Janie Winning is an experienced construction subject matter expert, with a strong focus on risk management. I serve as an executive adviser and coach, project neutral, mediator and arbitrator. Her work has supported the successful delivery of complex Northern California projects in both the Public and Private sectors, including the 2B+ Capital Outlay Program for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). She successfully effectuates savings to an organization’s bottom line by providing advisement in construction strategies, risk management, productive dispute communications and assistance in the development of organizational infrastructure. This strengthens the executive management team’s ability to evaluate alternatives, set priorities, and collaborate on approaches with the goal of achieving strategic objectives.
Janie provides delivery support services and coaching for the integration of dispute resolution techniques into the construction workflow, processes, contracting agreements, mitigation strategies, and dispute settlement preparation and negotiations. This includes facilitating workshops in plurilateral settings focusing on process, procedures, program dynamics, and productive communication, always guiding project teams toward resolutions and an aligned path forward. She is an expert at harnessing collective intelligence in plurilateral settings, steering toward resolutions and solutions.
