Mr. Bahl is a Partner of FTI Consulting and specializes in planning and programming matters together with delay disputes. Manoj is both a chartered civil and building engineer with over 25 years of experience working in a consulting, contracting and expert environment. He brings with him the core skills in establishing, maintaining and reviewing project control structures and techniques gained from working on multi-billion value civil engineering and building projects both in the UK and overseas.

His work covers all facets of the built environment, and his domestic and international experience has included both the private and public sector together with the involvement in several PPP/PFI projects. This project experience has included infrastructure (rail, airports, power, energy, tunnelling, utilities and highways), building (new build, maintenance and refurbishment) and commercial (financial services, data centers and offices).

As a forensic planning and programming specialist he is experienced in all delay analysis techniques and the production of supporting tablature and written reports as part of an expert submission. He has been instructed as a delay expert on numerous occasions, with experience in producing written reports and under cross-examination in arbitration, litigation, adjudication, mediation, expert determination and conciliation. He is also experienced in Tribunal led examination and ‘hot-tubbing’. In addition to his expert appointments, he has also been retained by a number of contractors and asset owners/developers in an advisory capacity and to provide an independent expert monitoring function on high value projects. He is also involved academically in his field at Kings College London and has authored publications for the Institution of Civil Engineers, Chartered Institute of Building and American Society of Civil Engineers.

Manoj is recognized in ‘Who’s Who Legal Construction Expert Witnesses’, in ‘Who’s Who Legal Consulting Experts’ and in ‘Who’s Who Legal Arbitration Expert Witness’ for his “excellent performance both in his written presentation and under cross-examination.
